Heartwarming Tearjerker of the Day: A Kirkland, Washington, man says he found a mysterious Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in his driveway carrying an even more mysterious note.
“Please take care of Mr. B. He is a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel,” reads a letter Paul Wu found inside a bone-shaped case attached to the six-year-old dog’s collar. “My parents got divorced and Mr. B was supposed to go to the pound. I think he has a better chance with you.”
Some “birthday money” was included with the note, but no identifying information. “All I want to do is let this person know, that we found him a good home,” says Wu, who handed Mr. B over to co-worker Robert Kuchcinski.
“Hopefully they’re happy with the dog having a good home,” Kuchcinski is quoted as saying, “And things are [fine] with them too.”
